- The Career and Technology Education Framework was developed as an integrated set of internationally benchmarked quality components that can be used to build qualifications or certifications for jobs, courses or programs. Each component is stand alone and therefore can be easily combined with other components much like building blocks. The blocks are designed to fit together in anyway the user sees fit. Yet, each part is readily transportable between occupations, jobs, careers, courses or programs. Together the components make a National Qualifications Framework.
